| · As a design validation engineer for product development activity, candidate will be required to have a high level understanding of assembly language firmware, standard computer interfaces such as USB, wireless interfaces, software drivers and operating systems |
| · Applicant will be a member of the development team and will be responsible for creating design verification plans and schedules |
| · Architecting new tests and techniques |
| · Tracking tasks against deliverables and project milestones |
| · Communicating product performance information to a broader cross-functional development team. Strong electrical engineering and data analysis skills will be required. Candidate should have |
| · Good understanding of digital image processing such as color analysis or graphic transfer |
| · Be able to develop webcam USB interface testing solution using Directshow or other tools |
| · Conduct design analysis and participate in design reviews related webcam FW related to USB, OS and application interfaces. |
| · Candidate should be to translate customer needs and product performance to measurable test parameters in order to define design criteria for product development. Candidate should be able to define critical performance metrics, product manufacturing environment and statistical data analysis techniques to develop manufacturing test requirements and limits related to image quality |
| · Candidates should have excellent leadership skills, problem solving skills and a passion for developing world class products. Candidate should be fluent in spoken and written English and posses good communication and team leadership skills |
| · Proven ability to work well with worldwide teams and across technical, business and marketing groups is required |
| Requirements: |
| · A BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related degree with relevant experience. |
| · 4 to 16 years of industry related experience including the product design or design verification of USB webcam or PC application related to USB webcam. |
| · Working knowledge and experience of USB and Directshow is a must. |
| · Working knowledge and experience of imaging, video and digital audio is a plus. |
| · Ability to demonstrate a strong skill-set in analytical problem solving, a history of increasing responsibilities and decision-making experience. |
| Excellent interpersonal skills including written and oral communications in English is a big plus |
