| Position Summary: |

| The Material engineer position will showcase your proven components/subsystems suppliers’ quality management, in depth knowledge on modern quality techniques (six sigma, statistical quality control methodologies), strong analytical skill-sets, communication (written and verbal), your focus on the customer, managing material supply pipeline, and your ability to manage the relationship with the suppliers. This position’s core focus is managing all aspects of components/subsystems supplier quality activities and supply chain by effectively collaborating with a variety of peer groups across the organization as well as externally, including, but not limited to, Business Stakeholders, the Tier 2 and Tier 1 Supply Base, Development, Supply Chain, Compliance and Quality, to track Tier 2 quality metrics and drive improvements to components/subsystems suppliers. The position requires a high degree of technical knowledge of manufacturing processes control and quality. |

| · Develop an overall plan to measure material quality metrics (at both Tier 1 and 2 suppliers) and drive improvement upstream. |
| · Develop all necessary SQE documents include but not limited to, component qualification plan, supplier quality requirement and expectation, component reliability plan..etc |
| · Perform periodic supplier audit and risk assessment |
| · Manage first article inspection process, component qualification includes manufacturing process verification |
| · Approve supplier manufacturing/test/inspection plans and procedures |
| · Implement real time WIP and failure tracking process at supplier sites |
| · Work closely with tier 1 supplier to sustain and improve component quality |
| · Establish component level ORT at factory and drive quality improvement |
| · Correlate and standardize test and inspection process among field repair, CM, sub tier supplier |
| · Apply 6 sigma to drive quality and process improvement |
| · Define and automate supplier data collection and reporting |
| · Drive failure analysis and corrective actions |
