Position Title: PDM Expert
Reporting to: IM Shanghai Operations Team Manager
Education: University/MSc or corresponding experience

W is now in process of implementing global W Product Data Management (PDM) service. W PDM will consist of the Siemens/UGS Teamcenter Engineering application, a multi site environment in Europe and Asia, and more than 5000 users globally by the end of 2011.
W Information Management (IM) is looking for IT professionals to help the four-year PDM implementation Program, to support the W PDM users all over the world and to coordinate the PDM information, project management and support activities in a new team that will be established in Shanghai. We prefer enthusiastic candidates with a can-do attitude, experience in global business environment, Teamcenter knowledge and interest towards W’s business.

Accountabilities
§ Management of PDM support requests. Resolving of requests together with the originator, PDM Program, PDM Key Users in Europe and Asia and W Helpdesk in Bangalore, India.
§ Coordination of PDM implementation activities in Shanghai
§ Coordination of global PDM testing, support and training as agreed with the W PDM Program
§ Development of the PDM activities in Shanghai.
Required skills, attitude and knowledge
· Experience from Teamcenter or other PDM applications
· Experience from a global business environment· Customer service and troubleshooting skills· Basic IT project management skills
· Understanding of modern IT service support and delivery processes (ITIL)
· A friendly can-do attitude.
· Excellent spoken and written English.
· Willingness to travel to W PDM sites in Europe 1-2 times a year for 1-2 weeks at a time
Responsibilities:
Main responsibilities:
· Resolving of advanced and complex Teamcenter application incidents, problems and errors in collaboration with W Helpdesk, users, key users, HP, W IM teams and PDM Program
· Providing Teamcenter instructions & workarounds to users
· Monitoring & reporting Teamcenter application volumes, loads, usage and performance
· Teamcenter parameter maintenance
§ Teamcenter application patching
§ Support for Teamcenter change management
§ Updating the PDM Knowledge Base according to proven incident resolutions
§ Transferring PDM knowledge to Helpdesk and Key Users globally
