Senior Sales Manager - China
 
Job Description:
 
Our client is seeking a Senior Level Sales Professional to be responsible for the development of new business within China market. The Sales Manager will be responsible for the management and development of new accounts and the education/development of customer interest in VoIP & Multimedia over WiFi and DECT solutions they offer. The position aimed to establish new business cooperation and sales infrastructure with Consumer Electronics companies.
 
Main Responsibilities:
 
  • New customer acquisition (and managing those accounts) - Building and expanding accounts by maintaining rapport with key executives; studying account needs; coordinating account service; developing account plans, and preferred vendor relationships.
  • Achieving sales goals & developing strategic plans to meet such goals
  • Participating in sales presentations, quotations and anything required to meet such goals
  • Evaluating competition and analyzing markets, products, sales campaigns
  • Work in conjunction with all teams in the company - engineering, marketing, sales administration, manufacturing, QA, etc. - to facilitate the sales and customer services processes
  • This is not a team management position. The candidate will manage sales efforts and activities in China territory as an individual.
 
Requirements:
 
  • Above 10 years sales experience of Semiconductors products, preferable in the area of Consumer Electronics/Telecommunications industry.
  • Successful Track Record with specifics on quota achievement, clients and deal sizes in the range of $3M+
  • Vast technological background in Consumer Electronics for Telecommunications
  • Electrical Engineer or Software Engineer with specialization in embedded software
  • Communication knowledge
 
Personal Skills and Attributes
 
  • Must be a self-starter, Self-motivated, highly energetic and have a high level of enthusiasm.
  • Ability to function in an independent environment without the need to be managed closely on a daily basis.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Focused in defining a goal and seeing it through, Results-oriented, strong execution and planning skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal/customer relations skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Creative in approach and something of an independent thinker. Capable of thinking "out of the box".
  • Ability and willingness to travel within his/her responsibility region and to headquarters
  • Quick learner - ability to understand complex subject matter quickly
  • Experience in engaging C level executives
  • English & Mandarin – mandatory, other languages– an advantage;
  • Candidate must produce at least 4 references from former managers, peers and clients.
