Job Description:

1. New Projects Support
Develop and discuss critical parts QPLs with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
Develop work instructions for incoming inspections and train up IQC inspectors.
Raise requirements to suppliers for part quality reports and verify the reports to ensure compliance to business requirements.
Review nonconforming parts report and participate in nonconforming parts handling activities.
Follow up parts quality issues and participate in root causes and CAPA discussion with cross-functional teams (Design, manufacturing, etc.) and suppliers. Drive root causes analysis and CAPA with suppliers by utilizing 6-Sigma methodologies, CAR and MBF, etc.
2. Ongoing Production support
Review nonconforming parts reports and participate in discussion of nonconforming parts handling disposition.
Lead failure analysis for incoming parts and drive CAPAs for part continual improvement.
Participate in in-line and OOBQ failure analysis with product team by involving suppliers if necessary. And drive CAPAs with suppliers to improve parts quality.
Drive Supplier continual quality improvement by utilizing 6-Sigma methodologies, CAR and MBF, etc.
3. Source Change Projects support
Lead the parts inspction and verification as per drawing requirements.
Investigate the supplier process capability to ensure compliance to company requirements.
Participate in failure analysis with cross-functional team by involving suppliers. Responsible for driving CAPAs with suppliers.
4. Supplier Quality Assessment (SQA)
Conduct Supplier quality assessments as per corporate processes.
Develop final SQA reports to WWP team as quality inputs for sourcing strategy.
Perform gap closure activities with suppliers to improve supplier quality.

Requirements:

  Bachelor's degree or above
　With / Mechanical Engineering / molding engineering major
　ISO9001 Internal auditor, ISO13485 internal auditor is a plus
　Familiar with 6-sigma methodologies and tools
　Knowledge of lean manufacturing is a plus
　At least 5 years work experience in supplier quality management area.
　With 3 years experience on quality system assessment
　Experience in Optical / molding / mechanical parts manufacturing and/or design is a plus.
  Good PC skills - Windows and office
　JMP and/or MINITAB skill is a plus
　Fluent in English and Mandarin (listening, reading, written and spoken)
  Willing to travel in the country.
