Reports to: CAE Manager
Main Responsibilities:
· Design analysis using AVL software tools in one or a number of following areas:

· Valve train kinematics and dynamics
· Timing drive dynamics
· Torsional vibration of cranktrain
· Hydrodynamic/Elastohydrodynamic analysis of bearings
· Crankshaft dynamic strength
· Piston/ring Dynamics/Tribology
· Calculation of bolts
· Gear train dynamics and gear strength analysis

· Technical report writing in English
· Preparation of technical presentations
· Presentations in English and Chinese in front of customers
· Project related liaison with customers
· Training of client engineers
· Sales support
· Support of other activities within AVL as required

Qualification:

· Minimum of Bachelor's degree, Engine Engineering or Dynamics preferred
· Good background of Multi-Body Dynamics
· Minimum 2 year experience in engine design analysis
· AVL TYCON/EXCITE/GLIDE software usage/experience preferred
· Good knowledge of mechanical principles of internal combustion engines
· Good command of English & Chinese languages both speaking and writing
· Excellent computing skills
· Good presentation and communication skills in both English and Chinese
· Pro-active, enthusiastic, good natured and self-motivated
· Able to work under pressure
· Able to deliver quality results under time constraint
