Purpose / Role
To support & execute engineering work of project, or assigned to site to execute the site management of Control & Instrumentation work.

Prime responsibilities and duties
1. Undertake the C&I engineering work independently such as instrument index, specification, datasheet, IO list, MR, TBE, etc..
2. Preparation of  C&I design deliverables including Layout drawings, philosophy, specifications, detail drawings, schedules, diagrams to enable procurement, supply, fabrication, installation and construction to take place.
3. Undertake the C&I construction supervision work or site management work at requirement. (for PMC or EPCm Project)
4. To plan and organize the work of the C&I engineers and designers of CDI to complete within schedule and cost.
5. To plan and organize the work of the C&I engineers and designers of CDI and to review/interview CDI resources in order to timely complete all deliverables for the discipline with high quality and cost effective design. (for PMC or EPCm Project)
6. Proposal technical support, such as work quantity estimation, manhour estimation (at requirement).
7. Perform works to the Company Procedures, specifications, standards and any project specific addenda;
8. To prepare & review the C&I design criteria and necessary control documents based on project execution plan prior to commencement of any engineering or design activities.
9. To prepare/ review TBA’s and to attend vendor technical clarification meetings when necessary. And attendance at FAT’s
10. To provide technical assistance to the project construction team at requirement (e.g. bidder evaluation, definition of the scope of work, technical requirements and etc.)
11. To provide discipline input to the Project Manager E&P on aspects of identifying changes of the scope of work and preparing related change orders
12. To maintain good interface with other disciplines.

Core competencies

Essential Competence:

1. University Degree of Process Control & Automation or Equiv.
2. 8 years of C&I design experience in the Design Institute minimum,
3. Familiar with local and international code, standard, regulation and practices
4. Experience of using discipline software for the help of engineering work
5. Solid discipline knowledge and engineering experience covers different field instruments design, control systems (DCS/ESD) application and FF field bus practice.
6. Good written and spoken English
7. Good teamwork and responsible

Desirable Competencies:

1. Proficiency in Intergraph INtools, MS office, Autocad, Microstation
2. Experience with international project or Engineering Company Client is preferred.
3. With Site experience is preferred
4. Petrochemical or chemical plant experience is preferred
