Purpose / Role
· To provide input regarding engineering and construction scheduling to proposals
· To preparae, monitor, and analyse engineering project schedules in Pudong office, to analyse the impact of both internal and external change and advise of impact to projects
· To liaise with cost control on WBS and CTR codes with the aim to standardise the work processes and improve efficiency.
· To contribute and develop departmental procedures and processess for continual improvement of project management.
Key aims and objectives
· To ensure each project has a developed and maintained project schedule
· To ensure that changes to projects are analysed and the impact communicated to management
· To develop standard coding structures to improve response of proposals
· To support cost control in analysing cost scenarios for project reporting
· To develop standard reporting structure and formats for engineering projects
Prime responsibilities and duties
· To develop proposal schedules
· Ensure project schedules are updated according to project requirements on a timely basis
· Ensure both proposal and project risks within schedules are communicated to management
· To set departmental standards with regard to schedule development and reporting
Allied occasional duties
· Assist with general project reporting
· Assist with cost control
· Develop and train project engineers and project managers in scheduling tecniques

job specs:
- minimum 12 - 15 years of experience in the engineering and construction industry
- refinery experience is preferred but experience in the petrochemical, oil and gas industry is acceptable
- at least 4 years experience with foreign company "western experience"
- excellent verbal and written English
- good computer skills with appropriate software such as Primavera
- four year college degree
