Purpose / Role
• Cooperate with Buyer to qualify the vendors.
• Ensure quality of the material delivered to meet the project requirements and national standards.

Key aims and objectives
• Control the quality of the material purchased for the project.
• Prepare the project inspection document.
• Select qualified inspection agency as required.

Prime responsibilities and duties
• Prepare the enquiry document to third inspection agency for quotation if required.
• Evaluate and select the qualified inspection agency.
• Review the material requisition before order.
• Develop the Inspection Plan and Criticality Levels and estimate the cost for each order.
• Liaise with the vendors and inspection agency or engineering for the inspection.
• Field inspector assignment and cost control.
• Review the inspection reports and coordinate with engineering for any problems.
• Issue inspection status monthly report.
• Vendor QC management.
• Vendor questionnaire review, vendor pre-qualification / assessment.
• CONVERO inspection operation and vendor management

Core competencies
• Bachelor degree at least.
• Technical in engineering equipment fabrication quality.
• Over 10 years working experience.
• 5 years vendor inspection and one project inspection coordination at least.
