Purpose / Role
To prepare Capital Cost Estimates for any work associated with Petrochemical plants and other related industries.

Key aims and objectives
Timely production of various classes of estimate as required by the project

Prime responsibilities and duties
1. To contribute towards establishing Estimating systems consistent with the requirements for efficient cost control and planning during the life of the project, and for future data retrieval.
2. To liaise during the estimation Estimating systems consistent with the requirements for efficient cost control.
3. To enter into, as required, discussions with other members of AMEC Group etc, to ensure complete compatibility, and add to database capability.
4. To co-ordinate the times and transfer of information and data to other members of the team, to ensure that a professional estimate is produced on time.
5. To project a professional approach to enhance confidence within other members of the project and Client’s Management.
6. To read, understand and implement the Company Safety Policy and the arrangements described in the Company and area Safety Management System documents.
