Purpose / Role

To assist the project QA/QC director to manage the entire project quality management system, particularly in the aspect of project quality assurance Key aims and objectives
· To establish, maintain and improve a project quality management system (PQMS);
· Perform professional quality audit on the operation of PQMS, identify and correct the defects occurring during the project execution in order to continuously improve the PQMS.

Prime responsibilities and duties

· To assist project QA/QC director in developing and maintaining an effective project Quality Management System (PQMS) that complies with ISO9001: 2000 appropriate process requirement;
· Coordinate and perform internal audit as a lead auditor as per related procedures and respond with corrective actions on the project functions and contractors;
· Establish and implement the project audit plan and procedure. Ensure all task in the project in accordance with applicable procedures, quality regulations (country, local authority, and industries laws and codes, ISO9001);
· Provide quality training for project staff to increase the positive influence of the quality management on the project.

Allied occasional duties

· To support the Regional QA/QC manager to implement and maintain the corporate quality management system.

Core competencies
Essential Skills & Experience

· Proficient knowledge in ISO 9001:2000 or GB/T19001:2000 system requirements;
· Good co-ordination and communication skills with the contacts with different cultural backgrounds;
· Technical background;
· Over 10 years project experience in petrochemical, Oil & Gas refinery, mining industry;
· Over 5 years minimum (10 years desirable) Petrochemical, Oil & Gas and mining Industry, Quality Auditing experience;
· Be familiar with Chinese Regulatory requirements and ideally suited to the Petrochemical Industry;
· Good communication skills written and verbal in dual language Chinese and English;
· Familiar with the use of MS Office software;
· Be a Lead Quality Auditor certificate in accordance with China Institute of Internal Audit (CIIA) or IRCA/IATCA certified auditors course.Personality Profile
