职位描述/要求：
Job Overview
This position is responsible for creating and/or maintaining software applications for a product or family of products. Provides moderately complex modification, testing and debugging tasks. Provides analysis related to software design and development and solves problems. Evaluates impact of software performance, and recommends changes to software designers. This position works with minimal supervision and utilizes knowledge, experience and judgment to accomplish goals.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and code moderately complex units/modules/products that meet functional and business requirements on schedule and within budget.
  • Develop plans outlining steps and time tables for developing programs and communicate plans and status to management and other development team members.
  • Write and maintain documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections.
  • Perform unit/module testing of software to find errors and confirm programs meet specifications.
  • Fix bugs, add enhancements, and convert software to other platforms.
  • Set up software configuration control and software development environments including program source control to ensure reliable backups and source code integrity.
  • Participate in design and code reviews with other developers.
  • Assist Quality Assurance Team by providing assistance to testers and support personnel as needed to determine system problems.
  • Develop and direct software testing plans for quality assurance.
  • Attend department meetings and provide input to establish and improve departmental processes and procedures.
  • Provide product content to Technical Writers.

  • Generally works without consulting their manager.
  • Independent decisions are made daily.

    • Reprioritize and manage their workload without consulting their manager.
    • Design programs or solutions.
  • No significant budgetary or other financial accountability.
  • Does not supervise (hire, evaluate, and/or terminate) other employees.
Position-Specific Authorities
  • Design/code/test software.
  • Handle moderately complex problems that arise in everyday work, and escalate more complex problems.
Business Travel
Business travel of approximately 5 or less percent yearly is expected for this position.
Position-Specific Education, Experience and Certifications
Preferred Education
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
Work Experience
Typically 5 years in software development, or related field.
Specific Skills and Certifications
Advanced design/debugging/coding skills. Complex problem solving skills. Communication skills. Organizational skills. Analytical skills. Technical Skills. Quality Management, Team Work.
Candidate should have rich experience on Windows programming with C/C++. Experience on Web base programming with ASP and ASP.NET will be consider as a big plus.
