Job description:
As a Hardware Design Team Leader, you will lead a team of hardware & RF designers in Beijing, developing hardware for mobile devices. You will be responsible for planning, steering and tracking the work of the Beijing hardware team per the requirements of the overall project team. Communication and co-operation with both internal project teams, stakeholders and external customers and partners is an important part of your day-to-day work. This position offers you an excellent possibility to take responsibility and gain valued experience and expertise in mobile product development.
Requirements:
-Must have several years experience with hardware development for mobile devices such as CDMA/GSM handsets, either baseband or RF hardware.
-Must have a good understanding of the mobile product development process, including concept, design, implementation, and test phases.
-Must have experience and success leading teams through the development process, and experience with leading projects in co-operation with multi-site development teams and the customer.
-Fluent written and spoken English
-The ability to communicate efficiently in a multi-cultural environment and strong leadership capabilities.
