• Job Description
We are looking for senior engineer experienced in Symbian/S60 projects. You will be responsible for plan, design, implement and maintain Symbian/S60-based mobile terminals in Beijing teams. The Beijing team will be part of a multi-site-environment with teams in Finland or USA, so communication and co-operation with these teams will be an important part of your day-to-day work.
• Requirement
As candidate for this position you must have M.Sc/B.Sc in in Computer Science/Engineering, or Electronic Engineering, or equivalent. You must have several years practical experience of designing SW components for mobile devices.
Professional Competences:
– 5+ years C/C++ SW development experience
– 3+ years practical experience of Symbian/S60 SW development for mobile and wireless industry
– Knowledge and experience in one or more of following areas is required
• Baseporting, peripheral driver porting
• Connectivity like Bluetooth, USB, WLAN development
• Telephony like TSY SAT development
• Multimedia like Audio, FM Radio, Camera development
– Good thinking of Object-Oriented and design pattern, and familiar with OOD, OOA and UML
– Embedded programming techniques, familiar with development tools and debug facilities
– Estimation and planning skills according to SW development process
– CET-6 is a must. Be able to communicate with foreign engineers in English
