• Job Description
We are looking for senior engineer experienced in Linux projects. You will be responsible for plan, design, implement and maintain Linux mobile terminals in Beijing teams. The Beijing team will be part of a multi-site-environment with teams in Finland or USA, so communication and co-operation with these teams will be an important part of your day-to-day work.
• Requirement
As candidate for this position you must have M.Sc/B.Sc in in Computer Science/Engineering, or Electronic Engineering, or equivalent. You must have several years practical experience of designing SW components for mobile devices.
Professional Competences:
– 5+ years C/C++ SW development experience
– 3+ years practical experience of Linux SW development for mobile and wireless industry
– Knowledge and experience in one or more of following areas is required
• Be familiar with at least one of popular embedded Linux operating systems like MontaVista Linux
• Baseporting, peripheral driver porting
• Connectivity like Bluetooth, USB, WLAN development
• Multimedia like Audio, FM Radio, Camera development
• Graphic User Interface programming like GTK+ programming, QT programming
– Good thinking of Object-Oriented and design pattern, and familiar with OOD, OOA and UML
– Embedded programming techniques, familiar with development tools and debug facilities
– Estimation and planning skills according to SW development process
– CET-6 is a must. Be able to communicate with foreign engineers in English
