Our client, a US based Company is one of the world leading organizations distributing a wide range of electrical and engineering products to all types of business around the world.  Due to their rapid business growth and continuous expansion in the Greater China region, our client is now seeking a high caliber Regional Sales Manager.

Based in Guangzhou and reporting to the PRC Country Manager, the successful candidate is required to head and lead the entire South China sales team in increasing market share within the region.

Responsibilities

• To lead and manage the region’s sales team and sales operation to meet and exceed the given sales targets/objectives
• To develop and formulate sales strategy and ensure that the execution of sales programs are in conformity with meeting and exceeding the projected sales quota, annual volume and other business objectives
• To manage and control the departmental annual budget and operating expenses
• To grow sales to existing clients by maintaining successful business relationships and develop strategies to penetrate into new market
• To perform accurate and timely sales updates to support the sales action through keeping abreast of competition, pricing and products
• To lead, train, motivate and grow an effective sales force to strive and drive for optimal results

Qualifications

• A degree holder in business or related discipline
• A minimum of 8 years relevant sales experience and strategic business planning in multinational corporations under a PRC work environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to persuade and influence decision makers at all levels
• Possess business acumen and change management skills
• Stellar command in all forms of communication in English and Mandarin
