Client Company: A leading European Company as a dedicated developer, manufacturer and seller of headsets and related products worldwide.
Location:   Shanghai, China

Position Summary:

- The Segment Manager is the driver of market share, brand equity as well as profitability.  This candidate will scope out the addressable market, identify the route to profitability, work closely with the local sales, marketing and partners to develop end user activation programs to drive product adoptions grow market share and customer satisfactions.  Through systematic and thorough study of consumer buying behavior, competition and trend, this person will develop strategic and short-term activities through in-depth market and consumer segmentation and analysis. 

Job Description:

- Undertake Annual Segment market research as well as Quarterly Market share and consumer insights and incorporate findings in the development of the marketing plan.
- Develop Annual Segment Marketing Strategy incorporating market sizing,  thrusts, priorities, mixes, models and calendar
- Identify and develop strategic alliances, alternative channels and partners to drive new initiatives and markets.
- Develop Quarterly Segment Marketing plan to drive brand, end user, market share and revenue growth
- Develop Monthly Segment business delta, competitive intelligence, budgeting, forecasting and action plan
- Ensure plans are efficiently executed across the region
- Work with local sales, marketing and partners to develop end user promotions, conversion, acquisition, awareness and loyalty campaigns for the segment & consumer groups
- Responsible for the achievement of sell through target, e.g. top line, end user activation, inventory turnaround
- Work with local sales and marketing to identify, recommend and improve partners value and performance
- Overseeing, implementing and improving upon segment marketing processes and customer life cycle management
- Train Agents on how to effectively up-sell and cross-sell.
- Daily hands on interaction with end point partners and agents on segment market sales and acquisition related matters.
- Drive reference sites, customer testimonies, case studies and product attachment
- Develop end user marketing materials and tools
- Act as a Consumer leader to the countries and the partners.

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Have hard core 5 yrs of hands on experience from market and consumer segmentation, to developing and implementing successful plans and programs based on the segmentation findings. 
- Experience in driving partners and consumers opportunities to achieve business goals and brand values.
- Familiar with the respective channels, consumer behaviours, marketing and research agencies, key players and influencer and have relationships with them. 
- A strong team player who think out of the box, good interpersonal skills, highly organize, able to set clear directions and plans, effective and assertive to run and drive regional campaigns/initiatives via different countries are critical.
