Position Title:                         Lab Technician（实验室工程师)- Offshore

Scope of Responsibility:

 

·       Actively ensure that his / her own health & safety and the health & safety of all fellow workers or other workers are preserved at all times.

·       Ensure full awareness of, and compliance with, the requirements of all relevant company/ customer HSE handbooks, HSE procedures and emergency procedures.

·       Scheduling test programs and deciding order of priority for work requests.

·       Attend fortnightly Cementing Department operations meetings.

·       Executed laboratory test routines in a safe and proper manner and in accordance with documented Company and Industry procedures.

·       Laboratory reports preparation.

·       Maintain the laboratory equipment and work areas in a safe and functional condition.

·       Complete the equipment maintenance records. Ensure adequate stocks of spares and consumables are maintained.

·       Calibrate of laboratory equipment and completion of equipment calibration records.

·       Safe use and control all laboratory samples, chemicals and reagents in line with current health and safety legislation and Company procedures.

·       Maintain laboratory test records in accordance with Company procedures.

·       General housekeeping duties to maintain the laboratory work areas in a safe and presentable manner at all times.

·       Assist in the training of junior colleagues.

·       Perform laboratory tests at well site locations and clients' facilities.

 

Requirements:

 

·       Chemistry, engineering or geological qualification or background

·       Basic knowledge of Company products & service lines

·       Basic knowledge of industry operations and practices

·       Mechanical aptitude

·       Numeracy

·       Ability to work with minimum supervision and use own initiative when required

·       Basic computing skills

·       Must have the ability to work in a different culture under very challenging conditions

·       Essential to be fully conversant in spoken and written English and Chinese

·       Strong interpersonal skills.

·       Work well in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.

·       Strong team player but works well independently.

·       Able to work in strictly confidential manner
