Responsibilities:
1.Primary Responsibilities
-Manage Material Project and its related handover processes from CP1 to EOL.
-Work with Site SSCM and manufacturing site(s) to minimize product EOL excess and obsolete material exposure.
-Facilitate alternate sourcing (2nd sourcing) to support supply chain and cost reduction efforts.
-NPI and production site material purchase drive & support for project(s) builds, ramp up and volume production.
-Project BOM and AVL change management throughout product lifecycle.  Plays a critical role in the EOL (end of production) process and wash-out process (end of life after warranty period) to ensure cost mitigation in terms of E&O and Scrap.
-BOM costs update and management in coordination with SSCM.
-Coordinate and agree upon all claims with the Site SSCM. Acquire the appropriate signoffs to approve the claims.  Claims include expedites, PPV, inventory re-valuation, rework, scrap, carrying costs, service fees and any other material claim submitted by the site.
-Material Ramp Up reporting by driving Clean to Build (CTB) - materials availability, identify potential risks and take appropriate actions to mitigate those risks.
-Drive material capacity for RU and volume production in cooperation with GDP/GCM. 
2.Special Responsibilities
-Driving of project VI (Vertical Integration).
-Strategic Compliance management with Flex GDP/GCM to be specified by program.
-Drive completion of Supply chain Parameters. Creation, maintenance, and approvals of the global Pricing and Parameter matrix to support product line(s). Work with Site SSCM and align with SSCM for each site for quarterly updates.  Parameters include but are not limited to LT, MOQ, and NCNR/STD.
-Creation of parts list required for Repair and Strategy coordination with the AMS team.

Experiences and Skills Required:
-Typically a Bachelor's degree and/or 2-4 years equivalent experience.
-Material & BOM & AVL management knowledge.
-Strong interpersonal skills and a good written & verbal command of English are essential.
-Strong knowledge and experience on the Microsoft applications such as Excel, Work, and PowerPoint are necessary.  Some knowledge in Visio and Project are beneficial.
-Knowledge and experience on Agile, Baan, and Cognos Impromtu are beneficial.
-Must have very strong organizational and problem solving skills.
-Self motivated, adaptive to impromptu situations, and can handle pressure at all levels.
