Responsibilities:
1.Technical and functional leadership of cross-functional team; e.g.
2.Hiring manager of engineers for team.
3.Performance management.
4.Maintenance of team.
5.Lead team in the development of device architecture definition.
6.Provide majority of the first-line functional responsibilities for team.
7.Ensure sound analytically based engineering practices by team.
8.Active review of engineering work produced by team ensuring high quality designs.
9.Issuing high quality technical reports.
10.Organize and conduct detailed design review with Internationally composed review team.
11.Produce progress presentations and deliver in English language to International audience.
12.Interface with customers as team technical reference on development programs.
13.Support the development of project level development schedules and expense estimates.
Requirements:
1.MS Electrical Engineering degree and 6 to 8 years of proven experience in product development experience.
2.Development of embedded design products for high volume with two of the three following expertiece:
3.Digital circuit design.
4.Analog circuit design.
5.Firmware design.
6.Technical lead of product development.
7.Knowledge of medical or life critical applications is a plus.
8.Experience with SW support to HW development for system bring up and debugging.
9.Knowledge and experience of design for Manufactureability and testability principles.
10.Teamwork with third parties in an international environment.
11.Good attitude in facing end customers worldwide.
12.Good communication skills both written and oral in both English and Chinese.
13.Highly motivated and willing to frequently travel on business trips.
14.Knowledge of:
C or C++ language.
8/16 bit MCU assembly code.
device driver & SW architecture.
language management for UI.
black out, brown out, fault recovery.
energy saving techniques for battery operated devices, is a plus.
bug tracking and revision control systems.
