Responsibilities:
1.Responsible to lead a team of Mobile Phone Project Manager.
2.Ensure that suitable resources are available to manage Mobile Phone projects.
3.Support and guide Mobile Phone project manager to realizing ODM products or customer products from the product concept, architecture design, and implementation until final release and production ramp-up in high volume.
4.Ensure that project manager is ensuring the product realization on schedule, with required quality, within target BOM and within project budget.
5.Work closely with account managers to check the feasibility of customer projects, provide RFP /RFQ and kick off the customer projects.
6.Responsible for multiple projects, including progress and status report.
7.Develop understanding and capabilities of project managers to follow the product development process and managing project schedule and product quality.
8.Development of strong customer focus within project manager team.
9.Monitor of internal design and development teams, outside vendors, manufacturers, and partners with focus towards building a best-quality product.
10.Recruit, manage, motivate, assess, promote and develop technical project managers in area of the responsibility.
11.Dialog partner for the employees to solve problems, decision maker.
12.Support development of the Flextronics Beijing organization and optimize internal and external processes.
Requirements:
1.Bachelor or above degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent.
2.Minimum ten (10) years of project management or team leading experience for high volume consumer products, preferable mobile phones.
3.Five (5) to eight (8) years of development experience in embedded devices.
4.Strong technical background, understand development lifecycle of project, including mass production and sustaining engineering.
5.Strong organizational and project management skills.
6.Excellent coaching and mentoring skills.
7.Proven leadership skills in leading disciplinary teams and project teams.
8.Excellent communication skill, able to communicate clearly on different levels within the organization and with customers.
9.Excellent problem-solving skills.
10.Able to work independently under pressure.
11.Knowledge and experience about Mobile Phone development processes.
12.Knowledge and experience of Mobile Phone lifecycle (from definition to mass production).
13.Knowledge about GSM/GPRS/W-CDMA.
14.Good English skill in reading/writing/speaking is mandatory.
