Location:Beijing/Shanghai

 

Responsibilities:
• Take the lead to work with segment/sites on project/design wins (ODM/EMS). Support all mechanical related activities globally.
• Facilitate activities with sites sourcing/procurement to ensure projects are smoothly executed at sites during NPI pertaining to materials sourcing related areas.
• Drive CR/PPV improvement programs with sites/SSCM. Establish cost matrix for all mechanical components (plastic and metal) with different decorative technologies.
• Be focal point person between Segment (SSCM & Design teams) and GP (GCM, Quote teams)
• Frequent traveling to support the design centers (Design centers in Canada, Germany, Austria and China) and supplier sites needed.

Requirements:
• Degree in a Business discipline with preferably strong commodities knowledge (mechanical) or Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management, business development and materials support
• Team player with proven influencing and collaboration skills and able to work independently & effectively across functions
• Have in depth knowledge in term of mechanical part and secondary process (e.g. spray painting, pad printing, laser engraving, etc) costing.
• Experience in tooling project management and Auto motive qualification process (PPAP, APQP, PCP) are added advantages.
