职位描述/要求：
- Provide technical leadership to the wind turbine and off highway vehicles team in the area of structural design and analysis. Able to manage risk to meet aggressive project goals. Provide innovative solutions in the development of new products to meet aggressive cost, performance, serviceability, and program delivery schedule. Mentor other CTC engineering staff. Responsibilities include all phases of new product and installed base programs, manufacturing introduction, supplier interfaces and serviceability. Interface with engineering, manufacturing, sourcing.
- Executes the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product/program requirements.
- Provides technical leadership to personnel supporting the assigned project.
- Documents technical data generated by the assigned project consistent with engineering policies and procedures.
- Provides timely communications on significant issues or developments.
- Participate on teams assigned to address organizational initiatives and generic issues.
- Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
- At least 5 additional years of experience in an engineering position
- MSME with 10 or more years experience in a related field.
- Strong English oral and written communication skills.
- Experience with ANSYS, Unigraphics, and related large structural design tools.
- Experience with the design and manufacturing processes associated with large iron castings.
- Experience with large mega class wind turbine structures
- Experience with large off highway vehicles, related mining equipment, transportation equipment or other heavy industrial equipment
- Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated supplier and manufacturing interface skills
- Demonstrated ability to define and implement productivity and cost reduction opportunities in product design
- Green Belt/Black Belt certification
- Strong technical aptitude, including applicable engineering tools and systems
