1. Responsibilities/Job Roles

Electrical design activities in rigorous stage-tollgate LED system product development environment.
Accountable for product design to specification
Usage of Design for Six Sigma Quality Deployment tool set in product design.
Cross functional work with commercial team to Interface with customers regarding Voice of the Customer input
Cross functional work with Quality, Manufacturing and Sourcing Teams in interfacing with suppliers.
Develop expertise in Electrical Product Safety Standards and apply to product design.
Demonstrating technical depth in dynamic LED Industry environment is key
Delivery of LED power supplies supporting illumination systems.
Identification of new technologies
Development of new product concepts, -delivery of LED illumination products to the market. 
Development, design and modification of power supply electronics.  

2. Qualifications/Requirements

3+ years experience with AC/DC power supply design
P-Spice, ORCAD, or equivalent computer aided analysis experience
Demonstrated -Experience in designing power supplies and systems which are from 10W – 300W in nature and are capable of either constant current or voltage.  Development of universal input power supplies including input voltages of North America, Europe and Asia
Prototyping skills
Creative thinker; development of future strategic opportunities
Excellent teamwork; must be able to influence cross-functionally and within the team, have the ability to work remotely with an engineering team in NA
Strong analytical and statistical data-driven skills; must be able to develop and present new platform/market business case, economic modeling, etc
Excellent interpersonal/facilitation skills; strong verbal and written communications skills both in Chinese & English;
Self motivated; must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with limited direction
Problem solver- must have experience in translating customer/marketing requirements into technical specifications
Proven leadership qualities; ability to provide quick-turn solutions and creative conceptualization
10-30% travel (Global)

3. Desired Requirements:

Experience in power supplies which drive LED systems
Experience designing and launching products from concept to launch
Strong commercial/customer relationship experience
Commercialization of new products (channel to market development)
Supply Chain understanding
Six Sigma Methodology with MBB/BB certification
