职位描述/要求:
Position Summary: Provides leadership support to site manufacturing by managing production staff and is primarily focused on: · Leading associates to perform all departmental tasks in the most cost effective and safe manner. · Achieving the day-to-day department goals (including cost attainment, quality and delivery goals) which are set each week by management. · Continuous improvement and associate development. · Manages available resources, which include associates, equipment, materials, and tools. · Ensure a quality product is processed according to schedule. · Ensures proper use of all Swagelok personnel systems and adherence to all regulatory requirements placed on the plant. · Support company operating plan along with Swagelok’s mission, vision and values. Key Responsibilities: · Communicate the company’s stated mission, vision and values. · Assist plant leadership in driving and accomplishing key performance indicators. · Meet department objectives which are posted in the department and set by management. · Conduct start of shift meetings and hand-off supervision of the production to outgoing/incoming supervisor on the next shift. · Plan and prioritize daily job assignments for his associates in his department. · Directs production troubleshooting by identifying problems, communicating to engineering and together resolving production problem with staff. · Perform job related administrative duties such as time card validation, update key performance indicators, and required daily, weekly or monthly reports. Associate Development: · Develop associates through effective use of the performance management systems. · Be available to your associates by walking the shop floor and addressing their concerns. · Apply all company policies and procedures fairly and consistently. · Resolve personnel issues or conflicts. · Monitor associate morale and communicate morale issues to manager. · Assist in the hiring process and new associate training. Continuous Improvement: · Resolve product, process and equipment issues every day to improve production. · Search out, recommend and implement process improvements. · Plan, lead or facilitate lean events using goals set by management. · Participate, close out, and wrap up lean events. · Plan and execute process improvements using goals set by management. Position Requirements: Education: High school diploma is required. An associate’s or bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required. Experience: Demonstrated leadership ability, strong technical ability, manufacturing and/or assembly experience in relevant areas is preferred. Skills/Knowledge: Basic computer software skills (e.g. Microsoft Office). Technical understanding of the eqiptment relative to the area of responsibility is required. Excellent communication skills.
