What awaits you?
- Responsible for all sales relevant aspects of importer & dealer performance. The ultimate measure is:
- Acting on behalf of BMW, taking overall leading responsibilities to be the main contact person for importer sales functions in all sales-related issues.
- Prepare, agree and achieve dealer annual sales business plan with agreed actions.
- New car sales quantitative performance and new car sales qualitative target achievement
- Dealer profitability in sales related part
- Monitor and improve sales operating processes like sales/USP argumenter, stock management, financial situation, dealer personnel management
- Monitor and improve sales planning processes like pipeline planning, ordering, etc.
- Develop, update and implement long-term regional sales strategy in cooperation with Sr. Manager Sales and Importer management
- Responsible for short-term sales performance and target achievement steering, while making sales support proposals and align with stakeholders for efficient usage of CoR budget
- Responsible for importer and dealers’ manpower & HR development in sales functions, e.g. certification target, retention
- Support and coordinate with other sales-related functions, e.g. Product Management, Used Car, Fleet & Special sales
- Support and coordinate with other non-sales functions, e.g. Marketing, Aftersales, Dealer Development, BMWi, training in order to optimize target achievement
- Collect and monitor market intelligence information and feedback to overall B5-IC organization. Provides consistent and systematic input on competitive sales and marketing actions in the marketplace.
- Other relevant assignments & projects to further improve overall business performance
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor degree in economics, business administration / management or engineering. Master degree is a plus.
- Sales area management / sales steering experience
- Fluent in Chinese Mandarin, Cantonese and English, both in written and oral
- Extensive knowledge of market and service structure in the Chinese vehicle environment.
- Understanding of automotive dealer retail operations
- Sales funnel management
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure (time- and complexity-related)
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of marketing concepts and events.
- Driver license
- Area Sales Management experience, automotive industry
- Dealer overall quality management / improvement is preferred.
- Experience in motor vehicle dealer retail operations.
