We are expanding our R&D Team and is looking for a new colleague Software Test Engineer for our R&D Center at our location of Guangzhou, China.

Your tasks:

• Main Objective: Software test of control unit SW (BASIC part SW) for Automatic transmission and E-mobility projects. Be responsible for the improvement of the SW test automation, process, and quality.
• Software testing for basic part SW of control unit for different product line including parking ECU, ADAS, AKC(Active Kinematics Control)，ECUs for Truck and industrial Application part. Specify software qualification test according to customer requirements.
• Design, specification, implementation, and test of testing software. Software testing and software verification according to specification using hardware in the loop test systems or single board test environment.
• Construction and maintenance of the test environment. Assistance in troubleshooting and corrective action. Support of software test manager in resource planning and resource monitoring.
• Customer support regarding to automatic transmission electronics and other related issues.

Your profile:

• Master or Bachelor Degree in electronics, computer science, control engineering. At least 3 year working experience in software test of vehicle embedded electronic projects.
• Be skilled of using English & local language Chinese in advanced level of listening, speaking, reading and writing. German is preferred but not mandatory. Proficiency in MS Office software.
• Has system comprehension of and knowledge in drive-line systems. Has basic program skill (C or Python). Has knowledge of SW test method and skill including CAN or CANFD or Ethernet. UDS ISO14229/J1939 and familiar with Vector tools would be benefit. Has basic knowledge of control unit software and hardware interfaces. Basic knowledge of embedded control unit test environments.Basic Knowledge in application, calibration and diagnosis systems.
• Having patience, cautious and intelligence in Software Test. Working in team, supporting & implementing team decision. Learning by doing and continuous improvement, willing to working on new projects and new products. Being able to get ideas though by influencing and convincing others.
• Ability to work under little supervision. Ability to work under pressure.
