Establishes Barco Healthcare product line strategy and roadmap, defines and steers new product development plans, provides general business support (product, price, place, promotion) throughout the product life cycle. It also includes working with other departments to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.
Responsibilities:
1. Define Healthcare product strategy and roadmap
2. Define product specifications
3. Commit (to customer) for non-standard product features
4. Assess and implement product life cycle initiatives
5. Prepare – together with Operations – operational process flow for products
6. Escalation level for technical and product related TnC’s/SOW (within CPI)
7. Analyze and report product/technology trends
8. Be an expert with respect to competition
9. Assist in price setting to meet revenue and profitability goals (lead)
10. Develop sales tools and collateral (product)
11. Determine competitive product strategies
12. Collaborate with a wide variety of functional areas such as sales, engineering, Manufacturing and operations to develop and provide product definitions customer needs and market opportunities
Education:
- Bachelor/Master’s degree or equivalent combination of experience and education in fields of business, marketing, engineering or related field
Experience:
- 5 – 8 years of experience in related field
- In depth experience in product management or equivalent experience set
- Must have a strong technical skill set in similar industry or technology
