One of the most important integration steps for vehicle E/E systems is overall system integration, which brings together all E/E components, systems and functions (powertrain, driving dynamics, body and interior).
The position is located at the research and development center in Beijing. You independently lead the problem analysis of the test platforms and test vehicles in collaboration with all relevant E/E modules and external business partners. You ensure that test platforms are correctly updated and configured for defined testing purposes.
For this position, we expect in-depth knowledge of E/E-relevant testing tools used in the automotive industry and knowledge of test-bench setup for E/E components. We also expect knowledge of all E/E system functions (e.g. quiescent current, network management, vehicle state management, high-voltage power management) as well as knowledge of vehicle cybersecurity, communication systems, remote software updates.
Responsibilities:
- Detection, analysis and confirmation responsibility for E/E defects during the vehicle development.
- Lead in-depth analysis of functional defects until technical solution is reached.
- Ensure that test vehicles and test platforms are in correct operational state with the latest available hard- and software
- Align deficits and defects of test platforms with relevant stakeholders and third parties and steer the solution process
- Support on technical knowledge documentation and training of testers.
Qualifications:
- Engineering degree (master and above with international studies) in electrical or mechanical engineering.
- Bus system developer (LIN, CAN, Flexray, Ethernet)
- ECU development (body controllers)
- Tool: CANOE, CANALYZER, CANAPE or equivalent.
- Knowledge in vehicle cyber security, communication system, remote software update.
- Excellent language skills in English (written and oral); German language skills are highly appreciated.
- Valid driver’s license which is at least 2 years old and very good driving capabilities resulting from regular car usage.
Experience:
- Knowledge major E/E relevant testing tools (Vector, Oscilloscope etc.). (4-6years)
- Knowledge in test bench set-up and E/E HW. (4-6years)
- Knowledge in overall E/E system functions (e.g. quiescent current, networkmanagemt, vehicle status management, high power management). (4-6years)
- Knowledge in vehicle cyber security, communication system, remote software update. (4-6years)
