One of the most important integration steps for vehicle E/E systems is overall system integration, which brings together all E/E components, systems and functions (powertrain, driving dynamics, body and interior).

The position is located at the research and development center in Beijing. You have overall responsibility for the E/E vehicle testing strategy of a full vehicle and other subsystem level test platforms in China. Your goal is to achieve complete test readiness through platform planning and to monitor the planned tests with their test cases. You ensure that all tests are carried out completely and on time and you ensure that any errors that occur are solved within the time schedule of the vehicle.

For this responsible position, we expect in-depth knowledge of test management for complete vehicle function tests, knowledge of technical problem management in the area of electrics and eletronics and knowledge of the vehicle E/E system integration.

Major Responsibilities

• Plan, align and execute test strategy of Spotlight produced vehicles for complete vehicle function test.
• Target guidance test strategy for E/E sytem and chain of effects.
• Steering of Engineering Service Provider in China to achieve all operational test and validations according to target agreement, I-step-plan and planned maturity grade of the projects.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (master and above with international studies) in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Knowledge in vehicle E/E system design and integration.
• Knowledge in vehicle E/E development/integration processes and system engineering.
• Knowledge in overall E/E systemfunctions (e.g. quiescent current, networkmanagemt, vehicle status management, high power management)
• Knowledge in vehicle cyber security, communication system, remote software update.
• Excellent language skills in English (written and oral); German language skills are highly appreciated.
• Valid driver’s license / test-driver license which is at least 4 years old and very good driving capabilities resulting from regular car usage.

Experience

• Working experience in automotive industry in E/E area. (4-6years)
• Knowledge in vehicle E/E system integration. (4-6years)
• Profound knowledge in test management for complete vehicle function testing. (4-6years)
• Profound knowledge in technical defect analysis in electric and electronics area. (4-6years)
